2007 when out in a whirlwind! We got Jordan moved to his apartment in Clearwater and we moved into our Park Model (despite they are STILL working on the addition!) and made the 19 hr trek to Michigan for Christmas and back. We had a fun time and enjoyed lovin on our new great-niece, Ashyln Joy as often as we could. It's always a joy to see old friends and a blessing to be with our family. We greatly missed Jennifer & Alec at our family Christmas, but looking forward to a visit from them this winter. It's been pretty odd to sit on our deck in January in 70 and 80 degree weather! You'd never be able to do that in New York!!!!! Well, not without having layers and layers of warm clothes and coats, ha, ha!! So, we are enjoying not shoveling snow. Bummer that when we returned from Michigan our golf cart was not where we left it! We searched the property thinking someone maybe borrowed it or hid it as a prank...we even began to hope we'd find it in the swamp...but, we finally had to call the police and report it stolen! "They" also stole one from a neighbor. Sad!! So, what a way to start off the new year, eh? The students are back for Winter Quarter. This weekend is Missions Conference. It's always a challenging time and heart-warming. Here's some pics from Christmas:

Look at the birds on my feeder! Thanks Jason & Jen!
Here's the cupboard, Jen.... I put white "lace" curtains behind the glass so the stuff doesn't show up so much. | | |

| Week 7 of camp is over... one week left! There's been over 225 salvation decisions. By the end of next week, over 4,000 guests will have been here on the property this summer! A week from today is graduation for the FL BI students. Lot's to do this week to get their certificates and everything ready for them to March Saturday afternoon. We have Herwig, Claudi & Luca Lamb from WOL Austria with us this week. Luca is about 8 months old and alot of fun. I'll try to post pictures of him when I get them downloaded. Tomorrow is our 29th Wedding Anniversary!!! We're going to the Melting Pot to celebrate tonight because there's not time in tomorrow's schedule. Hope everyone is having a great summer!!! Have you listened to this yet?? You should!!! :) | | |

| In the last 3 weeks I've been "home" to New York, "home" to Michigan, and now back "home" to Florida. They say, "Home is where the heart is." I don't think that's true though because a part of my heart is in each of those places... I've also heard, "Home is where you hang your hat." ... but just because your hat is hanging on a peg in a house, it doesn't make it a home. So... what is the right saying about home??? It was good to be in Michigan, though sad to say good-bye to a wonderful lady. The funeral service was a wonderful celebration of her life and legacy. Dorothy will be missed by so many. Thanks for your prayers for Sandy and her family. We've come back to Week 5 of camp---250 have trusted Christ to date! PTL!! Camp is packed out. We are even moving a few of our STC kids up to the Conference Center to make room for more campers in the Youth Camp. 3 more weeks to go!! | | |
